A NEW reporter has joined the Penarth Times team.
Joe Hoppe has taken over the role from Alice Rose.
He is from Newport, and holds a masters in News Journalism from Cardiff University.
Before moving to the Penarth Times, Joe worked as a freelance journalist for BBC Wales.
Joe said: "I'm proud of my new role and hope to keep up the great standards of journalism the Penarth Times is known for.
"I'm really looking forward to working with the people of Penarth and south Wales, and have been touched by the warm welcome I've already received."
