A HOLLYWOOD makeup artist from Penarth will support a Welsh charity for children with cerebral palsy.

BAFTA-winning makeup artist Sian Grigg will be joining ‘A Question of Women 2019’ as part of a chat show panel to share their stories, tips and humour and, most importantly, raise funds for Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales.

It will be held at the Cardiff Marriott Hotel on May 10.

Born in Cardiff, Ms Grigg, who lives in Penarth, worked as a freelance makeup artist in the film industry since 1991 and has worked as a makeup artist to the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman and Kate Hudson. She is best known for her work on critically acclaimed projects such as Saving Private Ryan (1998), The Departed (2006), and The Revenant (2015).

Ms Grigg has also won a BAFTA for ‘Best Makeup and Hair’ on The Aviator, and has been nominated for both a BAFTA and an Oscar Award for her work on The Revenant.

“I am thrilled to be supporting the event,” said Ms Grigg. “Bobath Wales makes a huge difference to the lives of children across Wales who have cerebral palsy and I am delighted to support their annual Ladies event.”

The charity, based in Whitchurch, provides specialist therapy and treatment to children across Wales with cerebral palsy.
