NEWPORT County AFC have announced that they will subsidise the cost of coach travel for fans travelling to Sunday’s League Two play-off semi-final second leg at Mansfield Town.

County, who host the Stags in the first leg at Rodney Parade tomorrow night, have been allocated approximately 1,600 tickets for the trip to Field Mill.

Tickets will cost £22 for adults, £18 for over-65s, £16 for those aged 18 to 21 and £12 for those aged seven to 17. Children aged six and under get in free.

All tickets will be available to purchase from the Rodney Parade ticket office from 10am until 5pm on Friday.

Tickets will also be available at the Kingsway club shop from 10am until 4pm on Saturday.

Supporters will be able to purchase tickets over the phone on 01633 415374 during these hours, on both Friday and Saturday, but they will not be on sale online.

Fans can also pay on the day at Mansfield, although there will be a £2 increase per age category.

Tickets sold on the day will be cash-only sales as Mansfield do not have a facility for card payments at their away end.

Young adults must show their ID and are advised to bring it with them on the day of the match.

Any prepaid tickets that are purchased before the match but not collected from Newport County AFC ticket office can be collected from the away end programme booth on match day.

The club statement adds: “In order to ensure we make the trip is as affordable as possible, allowing as many fans as possible to travel, the club has agreed to contribute 50 per cent of the cost of coach travel to Mansfield.

“To book your coach travel for Mansfield, visit the Newport County Supporters Club travel page, or pop into the NCAFC club shop at the Kingsway Shopping Centre. There are also independent coaches arranged. Contact office@newport-county.co.uk.”
