BBC One Show presenter Matt Baker has thanked the staff at a Llanfair Caereinion caravan park for their help and support.

Roger Neville, of the Neuadd Bridge Caravan Park, sent these pictures of the day the Children in Need fundraisers called on their site.

Roger says: "We were contacted at Neuadd Bridge Caravan Park by the events team supporting the Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge for 2019 and asked if we had an area that we could provide for a rest stop for the riders and crew for a toilet break

and refreshments stop.

"We were so pleased to be able to help.

"We opened our function room up turned up the heating to warm the riders and put on tea coffee and biscuits for anyone who wanted them.

"A number of our customers came out to support the riders as well as a large number of local residents who were keen to cheer the riders on.

"We held a raffle and held a collection and handed over £244 on the day as well as a large amount of donations handed in or placed in the collection buckets.

"The Rickshaw arrived at approximately 2pm and left at 3pm to continue their journey with Josh on the Rickshaw.

"Matt Baker was ever the professional and thanked everyone for their support and made a short Instagram video saying he was about to leave on the next leg taking him to the Shropshire border and Thanking Mid Wales for the good days they had spent here.
