IT IS the fairest panto of them all! And Laura Loutit has shared her delight about being picked for the title role.

Loutit will be joined by Sue Holderness (Wicked Queen), Andrew Agnew (Muddles/director), Aiden Banyard (Prince), James Lusted (Smiler) and Jamie Legg (Kip) when she takes to the stage for this year’s Rhyl Pavilion Pantomime - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The production will run between December 11 and 31.

Speaking to the Journal, Loutit said: "Snow White has always been my favourite princess funnily enough.

"When I got the part, my mum sent me this amazing photo of me as a child in Snow White. Dressed at Snow White, but with make-up on which is so shiny that I look like Snow White in drag.

"I would wear my Snow White dress to the supermarket, I would wear it everywhere, so it is actually so nice to actually do it properly."

The part in the Rhyl pantomime is Loutit's first job out of drama school.

"I finished drama school this Summer," Loutit said.

"And very luckily got this audition. To get it was just lovely."

Asked what she will bring to the role, Loutit added: "I was listening to the soundtrack again, the real old film soundtrack, and she has got this really squeaky, high pitch and she is very like cutesy.

"She is a very warm character but she is a young girl that has been locked away for a long time. I would like to make her more normal, relatable to young girls. I think that would be really nice to do."
