FOOTBALLER Bradley Dack is having a tough time of late — but fiancee Olivia Attwood is helping him on the road to recovery.

The Blackburn Rovers player badly injured himself, while playing against Wigan on December 22.

He suffered an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament and has since had an operation to begin his recovery process.

The adorable couple posted stories on Instagram of Dack in hospital with Olivia firmly by his side.

Dack reposted Olivia's picture, showing them holding hands.

He captioned it: "The road back starts here."

Olivia's caption read: "So pleased to say Bradley's op went really well.

"He's feeling pretty rough right now but thank you so much for the messages and support, I know it means the world to him.

"He will reply to everyone over the next few days and keep you all updated on his recovery."

Dack later added to his story calling the former Love Island contestant: "The best fiancé in the world."

Olivia joined the 26-year-old at the hospital, sleeping on the guest bed to stay by his side.

In another photo, this time of Olivia asleep, Dack said: "Looks comfy down there, thanks for being there for me always, I love you."

Dack was stretchered off in last month’s game at Ewood Park following extensive treatment.

The injury is expected to see him off the pitch for 12 months.
