Vale of Glamorgan Camera Club

This is a space for readers to admire the talent that local photographers have to offer.

The club is an online forum for amateur photographers across the region who are looking to get their images published in the Penarth Times.

These can be anything from scenic pictures, to weather shots or wildlife images, as long as they were taken in Penarth or the surrounding areas.

Each week, pictures which have been submitted online will be selected for print in the newspaper with full credit provided for those who took them.

This week features a selection of scenes which explore Penarth by day and night.

Our youngest contributor, Faisal Mashat, aged eight, produced their elegantly framed picture as part of a children’s photography club.

The aftermath of a hailstorm, meanwhile, is captured by Liam Foden.

Pip Slack rose from bed early to catch the sunrise at Penarth Pier with her dog.
