A RECENTLY-OPENED chippy has launched a contact-free delivery service in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Beachcliff Fish & Chips, which opened in The Esplanade, in Penarth in February, has started the service to encourage social distancing.
From 5pm to 9pm each night people can order food over the phone with a card payment, and the delivery driver will knock their door and leave the order on the doorstep.
Beachcliff already offers a takeaway hatch which serves directly onto The Esplanade so customers do not have to enter the premises.
The chip shop has a wide-ranging menu which includes vegan and gluten free options.
