THE Welsh Blood Service will be visiting the Memorial Hall, in Gladstone Road, Barry, for five days this month.
There are more than 550 appointments to fill from June 15 to June 19.
At the moment, the Welsh Blood Service is only able to accept donors with an appointment.
At present there is only three per cent of the population who donate blood and the Service needs all the help and support of the communities that it attends to make the collection days a success.

New made-in Wales blood test for coronavirus
The blood service needs to collect 350 units every day to supply the 19 Welsh Hospitals in Wales and at times this can be extremely challenging for the Service.
It is essential people continue to donate to ensure patients continue to receive the treatment they need.
The Service has taken extra measures to ensure its donors and staff are safe on clinic.
