A VALE garden has witnessed plant domination as weather conditions, since lockdown, have enabled nature to thrive.
A Dinas Powys Pink Echium is currently 14 feet (more than four metres tall) and a contender for one of the tallest plants in the county.

Echium Pink Fountain is a rosette-forming biennial.
It is a short-lived perennial with lance-shaped, hairy, grey-green leaves.
Each rosette of leaves produces a long, tapering spike, up to 4 metres high, of pink flowers in summer.
