A SECTION of the A31 has been closed this evening (Sunday) following a serious collision.
The road was shut at 5.50pm on Alresford Road towards Winchester between Alresford Roundabout and Chapel Lane (Percy Hobbs Roundabout).
The crash took place between a motorbike and a car, and police and the air amublance were on the scene.
The road is expected to be closed for sometime affecting traffic between Alresford and Winchester.
