A PENARTH doctor has been charged with being twice the drink-drive limit.

Dr Angharad Cox, 47, is accused of having 70 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath while driving on Cogan Hill on May 11.

The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Cox, of Church Road, is due to appear before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on August 18.
