THE Vale foodbank is appealing for help in replenishing its stocks of food and toiletries.
The charity is particularly in need of jam, rice pudding, tinned meat, tinned peas and potatoes, biscuits, sweets, crisps, and soap.

Its centres are temporarily closed, but food donations can be made at its collection points.
These include Tesco, Highlight Park, Barry Morrisons, Barry Asda, Penarth Tesco, in the marina, - Dinas Powys Nisa, Dinas Powys Texaco garage, Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern, Llantwit Major Co-op, and Cowbridge Waitrose.
Financial donations can be made via cheque, standing order or PayPal.
