FIREFIGHTERS are currently dealing with a blaze that is ravaging a newly-opened Penarth Marina restaurant.
The Deck, formerly Pier 64, was operating with staff and customers when the fire began on Friday evening (August 21).
The restaurant was evacuated and South Wales Fire & Rescue confirmed a call had been made at 7.45pm.
Eyewitness, Richard Boudier said: "I just hope everyone is okay."

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have sent four appliances to the scene.
South Wales Police, in a statement on its Facebook page, said: "We are assisting
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service at the scene of a fire at a premises in the Penarth Marina area.
"No casualties have been reported.
"A cordon is in place and we would ask people to avoid the area if possible.
"Thank you."
Cardiff South and Penarth, MP Stephen Doughty tweeted: "Just been down to speak to and thank @swpolice at The Deck #PenarthMarina - fire out and all accounted for safely. Huge thanks to @SWFireandRescue for swift response. Very sorry sight but glad to be told no casualties. Please avoid Penarth Portway where a cordon is in place."
Pier 64 was previously owned by Cardiff City and Wales international footballer, Craig Bellamy.
The restaurant, now The Deck, opened for the first time on August 7 this year.
