Pupils say they are delighted to get back into a routine and return to school.

Teachers have been working hard throughout summer to create a new normal for pupils to return for the new academic year.

Going back to school during a pandemic has brought many changes.

A number of measures including a one-way system and hand sanitizer stations have been included throughout the school.

Head teacher, Huw Powell said: “The first two weeks of term have focussed on preparing pupils for a full time return for all 800 pupils as of September, 14.

“The school has ensured that it is safe for pupils and staff to return.

"Measures include regular use of hand sanitizer, pupils and staff wearing masks in communal areas and corridors, staggering lunch breaks and timetabling year groups to particular areas of the school.”
