CARDIFF Bus travel restrictions will be in place as part of the Welsh Government’s circuit breaker/fire-break from 6pm on Friday, October 23 until the start of Monday, November, 9 2020.

Only essential journeys should be made during this time so the level of service is adjusted accordingly.

The company will follow adjusted timetables in Cardiff and the Vale from Sunday, October 25 until the fire-break ends.

Its app and website timetables have been amended to show these times.

Customers not able to use their bus ticket due to the travel restrictions, can also find out how to freeze their four-week, direct debit, and annual tickets on its website.

Services 8 and 9 which serve the Heath Hospital will run up to every 15 minutes Monday to Friday, up to every 20 minutes on Saturdays, and up to every 30 minutes on Sundays.

For service 30, Cardiff Bus will run an hourly service Monday to Friday and Saturday.

It will not operate this service on Sundays.

Newport Bus may follow a different timetable.

For services 92, 93 and 94, on Mondays to Fridays up to four buses will run per hour to Penarth and two buses per hour will extend to Barry as service 94.

On Saturdays one bus on service 92 and one bus on service 94 will operate per hour providing a 30-minute frequency to Penarth, and an hourly frequency to Barry.

On Sundays, service 92 will run every two hours, and service 94 will run every two hours providing an hourly service to Penarth.

Service 93 will not run and buses will not divert via Bessemer Road.

Bus 95 will run up to every 30 minutes Monday to Friday, up to every 30 minutes on Saturdays, and on an hourly basis on Sundays.

Service 95A will not operate during the fire-break and customers are advised to see service 95 for journeys between Llandough and the city centre, or services 92 and 94 for journeys between Penarth and the city centre.

Service 96A will run up to every 30 minutes Monday – Friday, up to every 30 minutes on Saturdays, and every two hours on Sundays.

Services 97, 97A, and 98 will not operate during the fire-break.
