A 16-YEAR-old boy is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after an alleged assault in Penarth.
Police say the teenager suffered a “serious head injury” on Friday, January 22.
Officers confirmed emergency services were called to St David’s Crescent near St Cyres Park at around 8.15pm to reports of a boy being found unconscious.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "He remains in a life-threatening condition at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff."
Two people have been arrested in connection in the incident.
A 19-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of assault.
A 17-year-old male has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
