IN THE week to February 27 the Vale recorded 39 new cases – down from 52 on the previous seven days, 94 the week before, and 109 the week before that.
The rolling weekly case rate for the region in the week to February 27 was 29.2.
More specifically, Barry East and Penarth recorded the highest cases in the Vale in the seven days to February 27, with eight in Barry East and seven in Penarth.
Barry East had zero to two new cases cases the previous week while Penarth had six.
The other cases for the Vale are:
- Dinas Powys: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 25
- Gibbonsdown: four new cases at a rate of 39.9
- Lower Penarth and Sully: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 20
- Llandough and Cogan: five new cases at a rate of 56.3
- Cowbridge: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 32
- Barry Island: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 21
- Barry West: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 22
- Palmerstown: three new cases at a rate of 34.1
- Llantwit Major: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 23
- Peterston and Wenvoe: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 27
- Ogmore and Llandow: zero to two new cases at a rate of below 34
- Barry Dyfan: four new cases at a rate of below 72.9
