IT MIGHT be outdoors, it might be freezing but the people of Worcester can head back to the pub from Monday.

Prime minister Boris Johnson gave the green light for the next step of the government's roadmap out of lockdown to commence as planned on April 12.

Here is the full list of Worcester pubs that have got in touch to say they will be opening for outdoor service, what they will be offering, if you need to book and how.

The Northwick Arms, Vine Street, Worcester

Worcester News:

The small family and dog-friendly pub usually offers regular live music and traditional ales, catering for parties.

They have announced that it has a “fire pit on order” because it is “still going to be a bit chilly outside in April” ready to welcome customers outdoors from April 12.

The Olive Branch Mediterranean Bistro & Wine Bar, Church Street, Worcester

It has an “extended the outside dining and drinking area” ready to open on April 12 with 40 outdoor seats and plans to extend opening hours on the first Monday.

Bookings are not available with customers to be welcomed on a first-come-first-served basis.

The business has also opened up Impasto at the rear of the Olive Branch on St Swithins St, a takeaway deli-type restaurant selling slices of pizza and handmade pasta.

The Blackpole Inn, Blackpole Road, Worcester

The Blackpole Inn will be opening at 11am every day from April but will be serving drinks only “for the first few weeks”.

Again, they will work on a first-come-first-served basis.

TripelB Belgian Beer Café, Copenhagen Street, Worcester

Worcester's first and only dedicated Belgian beer café and off-licence, which offers more than 100 Belgian beers and plenty of continental food and drink offerings, will have a “limited” reopening from April 12.

The Royal Exchange, Corn Market, Worcester

The city centre pub and sports bar which features things such as poker nights and lots more during normal times plans to open its bistro area outside the front of the building with new outdoor furniture and barriers to separate customers from those walking down the street, stop crowding and make customers and the public feel safe.

The Alma Tavern, Droitwich Road, Worcester

A new outdoor servery will be open to offer food daily and the pub will be open from 4pm Monday to Thursday and noon from Friday to Sunday.

Takeaway orders will still be available seven days per week with a free delivery service to local WR postcodes on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Two large beer gardens will be able hold up to 146 people in line with government guidelines with opening from noon everyday and food available.

The Bell, Lower Broadheath

On the outskirts of the city, The Bell has undertaken a pretty sizeable build to enable them to welcome punters outdoors in April.

The new outdoor eating area adds to existing outdoor provision and it will have a roof, lighting and heating. There are benches, an extra patio area and a play area for the kids with a new marquee.
