WITH pub-goers able to sit inside at last, we put together a list of places in Penarth to get a good Sunday roast.

Choose from a selection of hearty roasts, served with crunchy seasonal vegetables, beef dripping roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and as much gravy as you like.

If you're after something a bit different, Bar 44 is offering Spanish Sunday roast platters for two to share. 

Designed and priced for two guests to share with the dishes placed in the middle of the table.

The platter includes 35-day dry aged picanha of Hereford beef, chorizo Yorkshire Pudding, Jamón fat roast bravas potatoes, rosemary, garlic, thyme, manchego cauliflower cheese, tenderstem broccoli, jamón butter, roast carrots with honey and thyme and red wine sauce.

Choose from a leg of lamb, roast turkey, roast topside of beef, beef brisket, and a sharing platter for two all served with a Yorkshire pudding, beef dripping roast potatoes, a sage and onion stuffing ball, a pig in blanket, seasonal vegetables and our homemade beef dripping and Rev James gravy.
