HOPE Rescue has many dogs looking for their forever homes.

Hope Rescue, which opened in 2005, saves the lives of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs who need a second chance.

Meet Tye

Tye is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who is four years and 10 months old.

He was a stray and was a little shell shocked the first couple of days after he was found but his personality is now starting to shine through. Tye enjoys his walks and loves to sniff every spot in great detail!

He's been "very clean" in his kennel, suggesting he is house trained and he settled well in his bed.

Tye could live with children aged 12+ and potentially live with another dog. He hasn’t been tested around cats.

Meet Bear

Bear is a big boy looking for someone with a big heart. The rottweiler is five years and 10 months old.

He will need further work on his basic training but he is a bright boy so this shouldn’t take too long.

Ideally his new owners will be home for most of the day at first, so they can slowly work on the time he is left home alone.

Although not suitable for living with other dogs he could have friends walking, providing introductions are done slowly.

He's a boisterous boy, so his owners will need to be confident with larger breeds. He could live with children aged 14+ as long as they're used to larger breeds of dogs.

Meet Blue and Lass

Blue and Lass are a sweet older pair looking for a retirement home together.

Blue is a border collie and currently around 13 years old but still enjoys getting out and about for short walks. He only has a small portion of sight and does have some hearing loss so relies on her for a lot of comfort.

Lass is 10 and still very fit, she will happily go on longer walks from time to time but is just as happy to go for shorter walks with Blue. Both are very food orientated so this is a great way to make friends with them

They are looking for an adult only home with no other pets, but can be left home alone.

Hope Rescue also has a number of dogs coming from homes or the rescue centre that would benefit from a foster home rather a kennel environment.

If you are interested in fostering a dog from Hope Rescue until they find their forever hom you will need to complete a Foster Application form available on the website.

A member of their fostering team will contact you for an initial chat to discuss fostering in more detail.
