A PENARTH church is encouraging everyone to get creative in their Christmas Crib competition.
After a break due to lockdown, Tabernacle Baptist Church is this year again inviting schools, groups, families and individuals to rediscover the nativity story and create their own nativity scene.
With the environmental crisis in mind, the creations are to use only pre-used materials.
Tim Hackett, from the church, said: "Many children don’t know the nativity story and why we celebrate Christmas. This is a fun and engaging way to discover the real meaning of Christmas."

The entries will be on display and open to the public, free of charge, at the church on Plassey Street on the afternoons of Saturday December 11 and Sunday December 12.
Stephen Doughty MP and Shadow Minister for International Development will be judging the competition and announcing the winners at a service at 10.30am on December 12.
