EVERY Christmas, those of us who get real Christmas trees have the same question at the end of the festive period - how to dispose of the tree?
This year, the Vale of Glamorgan Council have made it easy for residents to responsibly dispose of their Christmas tree.
Between Monday, January 17 and Friday, January 28, council workers will be collecting real trees from the kerbside on black bag days.
The council asks that all decorations and soil be removed before collection.
If your tree is over 6ft in height, then you need to cut the tree down so it is 6ft or under.
Trees should be put by the kerbside before 7am on collection days.
Alternatively, you can take your tree to the closest Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).
Vale of Glamorgan HWRCs are located in Atlantic Trading Estate and Llandow Industrial Estate.
