THE latest Covid figures from Public Health Wales show that there are 130 new cases in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Cardiff has the highest amount of new Covid cases in Wales, with 469.

Wales has recorded 3,292 new cases including residents living outside of the country.

The average cases per 100,000 people in Wales is 98.6.

The Vale of Glamorgan has a case rate of 97.3 cases per 100,000 people, while Cardiff again has the highest case rate in wales with 127.8.

10 more people in Wales have died, meaning that the death toll is 3,535 people since the start of the pandemic.

All data is correct as of 9am on December 22.
