THE latest Covid stats from Public Health Wales show that the Vale of Glamorgan has recorded the fourth highest number of new cases in Wales.
There have been 368 new cases in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Only Cardiff (883), Rhondda Cynon Taf (675) and Caerphilly (458) have had more new cases.
Wales has recorded 5,929 new cases including residents outside of Wales.

The case rate in the Vale of Glamorgan is the second highest in Wales, with 275.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Rhondda Cynon Taf has the highest case rate, with 279.8.
The average case rate for Wales is 177.7.
According to Public Health Wales, 6,553 people have died in Wales since the start of the pandemic, including 894 in the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board area.
All data is correct as of 9am on December 28.
