PUBLIC Health Wales have released the latest Covid figures that show there have been 21 more deaths.
One of these deaths was in the Cardiff and Vale Health Board Area, taking the toll up to 899.
In Wales, 6,626 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic, according to Public Health Wales data.
There are 272 new cases of Covid in the Vale of Glamorgan and 846 in Cardiff.
In total, there have been 7,915 new cases in Wales including residents outside Wales.

The amount of new cases mean that Wales has surpassed 700,000 cases of Covid since the beginning of the pandemic, with 706,873 in total.
The case rate in the Vale is 203.6 per 100,000 people, which is lower than the Welsh average of 224.4.
Cardiff's case rate is higher than the aforementioned Welsh average, with 230.6 cases per 100,000 people.
