PUBLIC Health Wales has reported 28 newly confirmed cases of Covid in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The latest data from Public Health Wales reports 332 cases of Covid across Wales and four Covid-related deaths – which includes one resident outside Wales.

None of the deaths reported by Public Health Wales occurred in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB).

According to Public Health Wales there have been two Covid-related deaths in Betsi Cadwaladr UHB, one in Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB, and one resident outside Wales.

This brings Public Health Wales’ death toll throughout the whole Covid pandemic to 6,983 which includes 20 residents outside Wales.

28 cases of Covid have been reported in the Vale of Glamorgan, and 47 in Cardiff, according to Public Health Wales.
