SEVERAL artists have been announced for Penarth Art Fair 2022, which is returning this year for the first time since 2019.

The fair had been cancelled for the past couple of years due to the pandemic, but will return in July this year.

The event will take place at Penarth Pavilion from from Friday, July 8, to Sunday, July 10.

So far, nine local artists, sculptors and galleries have booked stands at the fair, as well as the Queen Street Gallery from Neath.

Of those who have booked stands, two are Penarth-based artists Nia Bennett and Sasha Kingston.

Other artists from Cardiff, Ogmore, Pontypridd and Llantwit Major will also be attending.

Only three spots are left at the fair, which is being advertised as a good networking opportunity for artists.

Michael Goode, the event organiser, said: "I am very pleased with the response from local artists, sculptors and galleries to sell their work directly to the public in the unique setting of the Penarth Pier Pavilion.

"It means that I now have only three stands available, so please get in touch if you want more information."
