PUBLIC Health Wales data shows that there are 1,482 newly reported cases of Covid across Wales – including 90 confirmed in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The latest statistics from Public Health Wales include three Covid-related deaths which occurred in the Hywel Dda University Health Board which covers Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire.

This brings Public Health Wales’ death toll, throughout the entire coronavirus pandemic, to 7,048 which includes 20 residents outside of Wales.

The total number of newly confirmed cases announced in the latest Public Health Wales update is 1,508 which includes 26 cases for people outside of Wales.

These newly confirmed cases include 90 within the Vale of Glamorgan and 198 in Cardiff.
