PUBLIC Health Wales have reported that 18 more people have died in Wales from Covid, including one more in the Cardiff and Vale area.

This means that 931 people have died in the Cardiff and Vale area in total and the death toll for all of Wales is 7,144.

The Vale of Glamorgan has reported 83 new cases while Cardiff has 201.

Wales has 1,745 new cases including residents outside Wales.

The average case rate for Wales is 53.6 cases per 100,000 people, with both the Vale and Cardiff having higher case rates than this.

cardiff has a case rate of 54.8 while the Vale has a case rate of 62.1.
