THE latest stats from Public Health Wales show that 15 more people have died from Covid, including one from the Cardiff and Vale area.

This means that 7,240 people have died in Wales since the start of the pandemic.

In the Cardiff and Vale area, 940 people have died in total since Covid records began.

There are 704 new reported cases in Wales including residents outside Wales.

Although the data covers three days, the removal of PCR testing sites in Wales means that the amount of reported cases is lower than the real amount.

In the Vale of Glamorgan, there are 33 new cases and in Cardiff there are 73 new cases that have been recorded.
