DESPITE a low amount of new cases recorded, there have been seven more Covid related deaths in Wales.
None of these deaths occurred in the Vale of Glamorgan or in Cardiff, with the death toll for that area remaining at 951.
Public Health Wales state that there have been 7,412 deaths in all of Wales since the start of the pandemic.
In the Vale of Glamorgan, there are five new cases reported while in Cardiff there are 10.
In Wales there are 100 new cases reported all together, though again it must be remembered that since PCR testing sites were closed, the amount of recorded positive Covid tests decreased dramatically.
This is because the stats were based on positive PCR tests.
