PENARTH TIMES readers have told us their favourite beauty and nail salons in the area.
We want to help promote more local businesses and this week decided to ask our readers what their favourite local beauty or nail salon was.
Touch of Elegance
The most popular among our readers was Touch of Elegance on Cornerswell Road in Penarth. The salon does both manicures and spa pedicures, Thai massage and permanent makeup among many more.
Eleanor Brunker said that they are ‘amazing’, while Cheryl Shaw said that the girls in the salon are lovely.
Joanne Scarico said: “They work so hard and are a lovely family business.”
Natalie Clarke said they are the only ones she would trust with her nails while Vickie Lewis said she’s been going to the salon for “longer than I can remember.”

Beauty Box
Beauty Box in Royal Buildings, Penarth came in second place among our readers. The salon offers manicures and pedicures, Swedish and Thai massage, waxing and hair removals, facials, eye treatments and makeup.
Kelly Lappin said: “Most amazing girls and service.” Madison Ramsden said she would go to Beauty Box “every time,” while Darcey Ramsden said: “The girls are the best.”
