A MAN has been charged following reports of an alleged stabbing in Penarth town centre.
Conor Thomas Dawson, 23, has been charged with wounding after reports of a stabbing on Windsor Road at around 4am on Sunday, July 3.
He was remanded in custody on Monday, July 4, and is due to appear in Cardiff Magistrates' Court.
One person was injured and was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.
The victim has not been named, but it is thought that they and Dawson know each other.

A South Wales Police spokeswoman said: "Conor Thomas Dawson, 23, has been charged with wounding after an incident on Windsor Road, Penarth at around 4am on Sunday, July 3.
"He was remanded in custody to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
"It is believed those involved in the incident were known to each other.
"One person was taken to hospital but has since been discharged."
