A NEW development of upmarket apartments have been proposed for Penarth's Windsor Road.

The apartments from developer Rush Residential will be called Windsor Gardens and have a variety of posh features.

Entered via Windsor Road, residents have access to a zen garden that is shared by inhabitants but private.

The mix of apartment and duplex units is split across three floors and have views of Windsor Road, Railway Terrace, and the zen courtyard.

The top floor penthouse also has an outside terrace for views of Penarth and the Bristol Channel.

Also available is access to a gym stocked with peloton bikes, a bike store, and undercroft secure parking for all units.

Consideration will be given to those with mobility issues and there will be security coded gates and doors.

Penarth Times:

Buyers can get involved and pick the finish of the apartments of driftwood, smooth pebble or smooth charcoal door finishes, and Blanco Norte or premium marble Calacatta work surfaces.

The kitchens will be designed by Avantgarde Symphony and come with Bosch and Candy appliances.

The bathrooms will be from Esclusiva by Tiissano and include Idro black matt finishes with a selection of white Finezza showers and baths.

Penarth Times:

The apartments vary in size, with each two bedroom apartment ranging from 700 sq/ft to 925 sq/ft.

Two penthouses are larger than 1,300 sq/ft and there will be two one bedroom apartments larger than 600 sq/ft.

Also included in the apartment complex will be energy-efficient building fabric, renewable energy surfaces, modern heating, venting, and electrical installations, water conservation measures and electric car charges.

The first homes will be launched by NEXA Cardiff and are slated to be available by autumn 2023.
