SEVERAL Penarth residents have recently been sentenced by courts around the UK.

Sian Kezia Jewell, 27, was fined for an old speeding offence.

Jewell drove at 36mph in a 30mph zone, namely Greenway Road in Cardiff, on November 12, 2020.

She pleaded guilty and was fined £100.

She also had to pay £34 for a victim surcharge and her driving record was endorsed with three points.

Kieran Paul Davies, 32, of Canon Walk in Llandough, was fined by Oxford Magistrates' Court.

Davies was fined £193 after driving at 55mph in a 40mph area, namely the A412 in Wexham on, January 6, 2022.

He was also ordered to pay a £34 surcharge for victim services and £90 in costs.

His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Liam Thomas Parker, 19, of Hewell Street in Cogan was fined for being drunk and disorderly in Cardiff.

Parker was fined after pleading guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Claude Road in Cardiff on July 7, 2022.

He was fined £80, ordered to pay costs of £85 and ordered to pay a £32 victim services surcharge.

Joe Nicholas Spiteri, 36, of Plymouth Road, was also caught speeding.

Spiteri pleaded guilty via the Single Justice Procedure to driving 35mph on North Road in Cardiff on December 24, 2021.

The speed limit for the road is 30mph.

Spiteri was fined £40 for the offence and his driving record was endorsed with three points.

He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £90.

Jonathan Price, 41, of Cowslip Drive in Cogan, was fined for driving without a seatbelt.

Price drove without a seatbelt on the B4265 in St Brides Major on January 20, 2022.

He pleaded guilty via the Single Justice Procedure and was fined £40.

He was ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £90 in costs.
