GIRLGUIDING Penarth headed off to PGL Liddington, near Swindon, last weekend.
Three coaches with 70 brownies, 60 guides and 18 leaders enjoyed an action packed activity weekend, with little sleep but lots of laughter.
Girls challenged themselves, overcame fears, made new friends and had lots of fun.
The girls raced each other around the challenge course, flew like birds down the zip line, jumped off the trapeze, leant to play archery and the art of fencing plus went to extreme heights on the giant swing.
It is with massive thanks to both the Rotary Club of Dinas Powys and Cabot, both of which made significant donations towards the cost of the coaches, which was very much appreciated.
