AN OPPORTUNITY is coming up to change careers to both a challenging and rewarding role.

Registered nurses and healthcare support workers looking for a career working with some of the most vulnerable children in Wales are being invited to explore career opportunities at Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice.

The Welsh charity, which celebrates its 25th anniversary next year, is set to hold an open evening for prospective care staff at its hospice on Hayes Road, Sully, near Cardiff, on Wednesday, January 25.

Running from 5pm until 7pm the event is open to registered nurses and healthcare support workers who are looking to explore their next career move.

Zoe Tippins, director of people services at Tŷ Hafan, said it was an opportunity not to be missed.

“We are looking to recruit permanent and bank registered nurses and healthcare support workers to join our highly experienced care team at our children’s hospice in Sully," said Ms Tippens.

“Our open evening will be an opportunity to learn more about our services and working for Tŷ Hafan, as well as to talk to the team and explore our recently refurbished hospice and its beautiful grounds, located on the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan coastline.

“If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be a member of Team Tŷ Hafan then this is the event for you. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our hospice.”
