UNSURE on how to entertain the little ones this summer?

Along with one-off craft events, Penarth Library offers a whole host of ongoing activities to keep them occupied over the holidays.

Code Club

When: Every Tuesday, 3.45pm.

Is your child an aspiring tech genius? Do they have an idea for an app or website that could be the next big thing? Let them nurture those skills by joining Code Club: a nationwide society for children aged nine to 13.

The club’s sessions comprise of some basic training of resources such as Scratch, Python, and Raspberry Pi, along with free time to allow your child to work on their own project.

Other than having a bit of fun, the skills your child will acquire at Code Club can really help with their future career prospects.
