GOOD news for the high street - yes you read that right - good news for the high street!! Sophisticated fashion retailer Peacocks officially confirmed they are opening their new store in the Vale - and they've given an opening date.
Peacocks will open their new store on Windsor Road, Penarth on Thursday, October 12, at 9am.
The unit was formally occupied by fashion outlet M&Co which went bust last year, shutting all 170 of its branches across the UK with the loss of nearly 2,000 jobs.
What to expect from new Peacocks in Penarth?
To celebrate the opening of the new store Peacocks will be offering opening day discounts on celebrity-endorsed fashion lines.
The store will stock a wide range of women’s, men’s and kids fashion in a large variety of sizes
The womenswear collection is tailored by popstar Louise Redknapp and the new menswear ranges by celebrity street dancer Ashley Banjo and football legend Michael Owen.
A spokesperson for Peacocks explained exactly what you'll get from Louise and Michael.
"The Louise Redknapp Edit is a capsule collection of key statement pieces for AW23 from chunky knitwear and check shirts to stylish outerwear that will be sure to take you into the new season in style!
"The Michael Owen collection offers a range of casual menswear staples, from basic t-shirts and polo shirts to great quality knitwear.
"For effortlessly stylish pieces, the new Ashley Banjo edit offers a selection of oversized heavyweight t-shirts, sweatshirts, joggers and baseball jackets.
"And it'll all be at a great value prices you’ll love!"
The store is located at 20 Windsor Road, Penarth, CF64 1JH.
