SOME of Wales' top darts stars are among a range of sporting heroes set to visit the Vale Sports Arena in Llandough this summer.

Former darts World Champion Gerwyn Price, from Markham, will join fellow Welshman Johnny Clayton along with teenage darts sensation Luke Littler and Chris Dobey in a darts event on Saturday, August 24.

Littler will visit South Wales for the second time, following his premier league darts debut at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff on Thursday, February 1.

He went on to become Premier League champion in London after beating World Darts champion Luke Humphries 11- 7 in London last month.

The Vale Arena is now home to some of the finest darts events and features some of the biggest sports stars in entertainment.

Peter Griffiths, owner, and founder of Vale Arena, said: “We are delighted to welcome some of the biggest sporting stars both past and present to the arena.

“We have held hundreds of events with celebrities and 2024 is set to be one of the best yet.”

The arena has also welcomed stars such as Pele, Tyson Fury, and Floyd Mayweather in recent times are based ten minutes away from Cardiff City Centre.

Other events set to be announced are an evening with football legends such as Paul Gascoigne, and Bryan Robson will discuss their careers and meet fans.

Liverpool legends Robbie Fowler, Peter Beardsley, John Barnes, and John Alridge will be taking part in a unique evening later in the year with more guests to be announced.
