A Penarth man was recently recognised for his work at Windsor Castle.
Spike Griffiths, head of Beacons Cymru, was invited to meet the King in recognition of his efforts in helping young people break into the music industry in Wales.
Mr Griffiths is known for his dedication to supporting young musical talents and developing behind-the-scenes careers.
The King welcomed representatives from across the UK who strive to improve access to music-making for the youth.
The event, hosted by BBC Radio 3 presenter Katie Derham, included performances from award-winning saxophonist and broadcaster YolanDa Brown.
