Students from a Vale of Glamorgan musical and dance school put on a spectacular performance of Shrek the Musical.
The Jeff Guppy School of Musical Theatre, based in Penarth, delighted locals with their take on the popular musical at Stanwell School on Sunday, August 3.
The students put on two shows of the "incredible" performance for the audience.
The musical theatre school is run by Jeff Guppy, who is the co-principal and musical director and has been involved in the industry for many years.
Mr Guppy has directed many West End shows and was recently the musical director for Phantom of the Opera star Peter Karrie.
He is "passionate" about passing on his knowledge of the industry to the students at the school.
The school welcomes people aged from 4 to 104 years old and helps those who are both new to the stage and those who are looking to perfect their skills.
It offers a range of classes for all levels and ages, from mini musical theatre to teenies classes.
The classes are led by industry professionals who focus "on hard work, discipline, and of course, having fun," and are all about building friendships, teamwork, and letting creativity shine.
School staff welcome anyone who is interested to join their family at the Jeff Guppy School of Musical Theatre.
The directors, Amy Guppy, Ffion Arrandale and Sian Smith, said: "We're incredibly proud of everyone involved in our recent production of Shrek: The Musical.
"From the cast who brought these beloved characters, to the crew who made the magic happen seamlessly – your hard work, creativity, and commitment truly paid off. Directing this show was a joy and a privilege, and the audience’s laughter, tears, applause, and standing ovations made it all worthwhile.
