A church is hosting a series of Sunday concerts.
The Autumn Series at St Augustine’s Church in Penarth, curated by four musicians living in the town, began in September and continues with two more performances this month.
The concerts are the result of a collaboration between Penarth musicians Martin Gwilym-Jones, Nancy Johnson, Thomas Coltman, and composer Robert Fokkens.
Mr Fokkens said: "We are especially pleased to be putting on this series in our local church with excellent musicians mostly from Penarth and Cardiff, along with a few close friends from further afield.
"There are so many musicians and creative people in Penarth, when Rob Court approached us we were really excited to put together a programme of events that would appeal broadly to the whole local community and welcome them into this beautiful building to experience live music in its glorious acoustic."
The concerts are scheduled to take place on Sundays, November 9 and 23, at 3pm.
Each performance lasts around an hour and features a mix of chamber music and song.
The next concert will include works by Mozart, Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer Caroline Shaw, and Robert Fokkens.
The final concert will feature bass-baritone Thomas Coltman alongside a string quartet, with a programme ranging from Beethoven to contemporary music and folk songs.
One attendee said: "I really enjoyed it.
"A lovely mixed programme and the perfect length. Amazing to hear musicians of that calibre.
"Great stuff."

A third commented: "We enjoyed your concert so much on Sunday.
"We felt really refreshed afterwards—first rate musicians."
Tickets are £10 on the door, with student tickets available for £5.
Under 18s can attend for free.
