A Penarth-based communications and content agency has thrived after its founder completed a course at Cardiff Business School.
Since establishing TMPR in 2011, Louise Morgan has consistently grown the B2B agency, building a robust client portfolio in sectors such as construction, engineering, and manufacturing.
She attributes the recent success of her agency to the course taken at Cardiff Business School, which has also resulted in an ongoing relationship with the institution.
Ms Morgan said: "It’s no coincidence that since I took the course, we have been on a growth trajectory.
"We’ve bought our own building – it's a step change.
"It's a very different business today than it was before I went on the course."
The course provided Ms Morgan with a broader perspective on her business, allowing her to step back from the day-to-day operations.
"It was stepping out of the business that gave me the thinking time," she said.
"It made me feel that I wasn't alone.
"It was a blend of classroom-based teaching and virtual modules."
Earlier this year, TMPR engaged with Cardiff Business School’s integrated work placement programme, taking on a business student for a five-month paid placement.
Ms Morgan said: "That had a real positive, strong business impact that's lasted.
"The wider support network has played a key part in our continued commitment to grow."
Linda Hellard, business manager for executive education at Cardiff Business School, said: "It was brilliant to have Louise with us on one of our short courses.
"Her energy and insight added so much to the experience."
She encouraged other professionals to explore the short courses offered at the school, stating they are designed to provide fresh perspectives on business and management issues.
