Penarth's Red Herring Theatre is preparing to bring a festive classic to the Pier Pavilion.
A Christmas Carol will be performed between December 18 and December 20 in a unique 1940s radio-broadcast format, complete with the nostalgic charm of vintage commercials.
Eight talented actors, accompanied by live music and sound effects, are set to transport audiences to 1940s New York, taking them on a thrilling journey as three ghosts teach Ebenezer Scrooge the true meaning of Christmas.
The theatre promises a delightful treat for audiences young and old, describing the experience as 'a Dickens of a family Christmas'.
Adding to the authenticity of the production, there will be live sound effects and musical accompaniment.
These elements are sure to enhance the audience's immersion in the transformative tale of Scrooge’s redemption.
Tickets can be purchased from the TicketSource website. Performances take place at 7.30pm each day between December 18 and 20, with an additional matinee performance at 2pm on December 20.
