Scottish rock powerhouses Biffy Clyro thrilled a sold-out crowd on Thursday night as they made their long-awaited headline debut at TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle.
Renowned for their explosive live performances, the band delivered a powerful, career-spanning set of more than 20 tracks to thousands of fans at the historic venue, showcasing the catalogue that has cemented their status as one of the UK's most celebrated live acts.
Kicking off with fan favourite The Captain, Biffy Clyro tore through anthems including That Golden Rule, Biblical, Black Chandelier, Mountains and Machines, before an encore of Wolves of Winter, Bubbles and a rousing finale with their iconic anthem Many of Horror.
Reflecting on the night, frontman Simon Neil told the crowd: “Cardiff you have been amazing tonight. Thank you so much. Have a great summer!”
Joining Biffy Clyro as special guests were Mercury Prize-winning indie rock quartet English Teacher, while rising Glaswegian punk outfit Humour opened the show.
TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle 2026 – which sees a record 24 headline shows from some of music's biggest and best-known stars – continued on Friday with a huge headline show from The Streets.
