A water quality incident is under investigation following reports of discoloured water.
The issue has been reported in the Penarth area, with Welsh Water currently looking into the cause of the problem.
A spokesman for Welsh Water said: "We're aware of an incident in your area which may be affecting your water quality."
The investigation remains at Stage 1.
A Welsh Water spokesman said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Customers can find updates on the Welsh Water website and sign up for email notifications about the incident.
Advice is also available online for those experiencing unusual tastes, smells, or changes in the appearance of their water.
