FOR several years the current chairman of the Vale of Glamorgan has hosted fortnightly coffee mornings in aid of various charities.

Last year, thousands of pounds were raised for a variety of good causes. The present mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan is Cllr Emlyn Williams. He attended all last year's events, as did Cllr Margaret Kirby. It is hoped that these events will be better supported.

Where else could you get tea/coffee and biscuits for £1? There are always stalls selling a variety of goods.

The next one is on Tuesday, September 28, in the civic offices, at 10.30am.
