HITS 51 is a great compilation, with all the top hits from 2001.
There's a bit of reminiscing as recently-split bands Steps and Five star with One for Sorrow and Closer to Me, while there's also some upbeat parts with plenty of dance, pop and R&B.
It features Westlife's Queen of my Heart, Jennifer Lopez's I'm Real and Mis-teeq's One Night Stand, along with other top songs like Dido's big hit Hunter and Natalie Imbruglia's brilliant That Day.
Also appearing is Bjork with her bizarre Pagan Poetry, Eddy Grant with Walking on Sunshine, and Alicia Keys' excellent Fallin'.
For the kiddies there's Bob the Builder with Mambo No.5 and the Tweenies with the festive I believe in Christmas. On the completely offbeat side, there's Bell and Spurling with Sven, Sven, Sven.
Cher with The Music's No Good Without You, Riva featuring Dannii Minogue with Who do you love now? and Liberty with Doin' it add to the 50-strong album.
A great mix to suit the majority of today's tastes in music.
